Freelance copywriter, Virtual Assistant, and book editor for creative business owners and authors in the UK and beyond.

Hi, I’m Lauren

For the longest time, I thought I needed to find my thing – the brilliant idea, the perfect 9-5 that wouldn’t burn me out, the thing I was meant to create.

Turns out, what lights me up is helping you bring your thing to life.

I’m a UK-based copywriter, virtual assistant, and developmental book editor helping creative people run successful businesses and write brilliant books without burning out (or aggressively procrastinating!).

I’ve been a freelance copywriter for just over five years, having made my foray into the world of self-employment during the pandemic. In that time, I’ve worked with a huge range of creative businesses, service providers, coaches, therapists, and more; slowly but surely finding my rhythm, and my people – some of whom have become life-long friends.

My brain is wired to problem-solve. To understand the intricacies of a business, a strategy, a story, and map out how how something can work smarter or connect more deeply. Whether it’s the writing the perfect blog post, building a custom Notion space, or crafting the perfect plot twist; at my core, I light up when I’m collaborating with people to bring their ideas to life in the best possible way.

i help creative people bring their ideas, businesses, and stories into the world without burning out or getting overwhelmed by the minute details.

Craft:ed Studio is more than a place to outsource work. It’s a place for the dreamers, the creatives, and the storytellers that I work with to feel safe, seen, and able to ask for support.

I want this to feel like a space where you can share your struggles, trust me with the ideas you’re bringing to life, and tell me where you need me to step up to make this work.

With an empathetic ear and a whole lot of (gentle) curiosity I use copywriting, administrative support, and an editor’s eye to give you the time and energy to do what you love to the best of your ability.
